We implemented pictures of their mouth watering sandwiches into the design of the website to break the monotony of colour dominating design.

Our client was very adamant about keeping the site design super simple. The design we created was kept simple with just a boxed photos to create a more interesting approach to the menu on the home page.
Overall effect reflects all the client’s marketing materials, and general feel of the brand Quick Sandwiches.

The high contrast of black and bright red and yellow creates a strong, “no-nonsense” kind of feel to the website, and we are happy with the end results!

To us it meant back to our drawing boards and since the most fruitful “wow effect” was the architecture itself that the builder created for his custom homes, we concluded to implement company’s projects into the look of the website.

To create most exposure for the images of the homes we used the photographs of his projects as backgrounds for the website pages. We took photographs ourselves and did extensive photo correction and manipulation to clean out any details that would take away from the houses (some were still in unfinished stages). We felt it was crucial to design the site in such way that the background image would always fill the whole page, no matter what was the size of the monitor, or the browser’s open window. That look is very current for web design nowadays, and being current was one of our goals.

Another aspect of the site was to use the testimonials of Tatra Valley Homes’ clients. Testimonials are used a lot in websites and promotional materials, but at the end of the day, they are presented simply as quotes. We wanted to present them in a form that is more true, sort of speak. We scanned the original testimonials just the way they were written or typed and without any photoshoping we included them in a gallery style format. The effect is very satisfactory!
